ABOUT THE ARTIST

My life has always come down to two things: art, and animals. Not always in that order.

Pet portraits helped me remember why I loved art, at a time where I was feeling full on art-school-imposter-syndrome. Back then, I was drawing them just for me. Then, for friends and family. Slowly, requests from friends-of-friends started to come in.

Fast forward to the present day: More often than not, I don’t know the person who’s pet I’m drawing. They’re total strangers, but we always have one thing in common: we love our pets.

Each animal is unique, and my aim with my portraits is to capture that individual spirit and personality that makes your pet so special.  Portraits make wonderful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays, as well as beautiful memorials to remember those who are no longer with us.
